Job description

An opportunity to apply for funding to support the development of a well loved local wildlife reserve. Funding will be sought for general maintenance costs as well as special projects. 

What will you be doing?

You will make applications to funding bodies ensuring that our charity mission and aims meet funding criteria. You will be supported by a small team of volunteers and have responsibility for submitting applications and reporting results to the trustees. Three years experience is essential and  effective writing skills and commitment a must.

What are we looking for?

You will be responsible, able to work to deadlines, with good writing and verbal communication skills with a passion for nature and wildlife. Ability to attend occasional trustee meetings (on a Monday evening in central Long Buckby) would be helpful, remote working may be possible.

What difference will you make?

You will be helping to ensure a love for and interest in the outdoors, nature, wildlife and conservation for years to come. Our charity supports the work of local clubs and schools with regular visits and activities taking place and is open 24/7 to visitors of all ages and abilities.
