Veterinary Surgeon - Maidstone

Overview:
• Veterinary Surgeon role at a RCVS accredited, independent practice in Kent
• Award winning practice with modern facilities on offer including ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, dental digital x-ray and in-house laboratory with a modern biochemistry analyser and haematology machine
• No OOH or bank holidays
• Visa sponsorship
• Salary up to £65,000 DOE

We have a unique and fantastic opportunity to work at an independent, award winning practice based in Maidstone, Kent. This picturesque historical town is an ideal place to live with great restaurants, bars and shops as well as excellent schools. There are plenty of walks nearby and lots of places of historical interest. They are ideally placed for travel with central London only an hour away by train and the Kent coastline only 30 minutes by car with Gatwick airport just 40 minutes away.

This RCVS accredited practice has been established in the local area for over 125 years and has built up an excellent reputation as well as winning a silver ISFM cat friendly award and Investor in Customers' Gold 2021 certificate. It is a modern, well-equipped practice offering many services including surgical services, diagnostic imaging with ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy, dental care with dental digital radiography and an in-house laboratory with a modern biochemistry analyser, haematology machine and full range of laboratory tests.

The role will involve some sole charge consulting so is ideally suited to a Vet with some experience although a confident 2021 Graduate would also be considered. You will be joining a team where every member of the practice feels valued and everyone works together to ensure the best possible care is taken for their patients and their clients. With a focus on personal growth and development, not just in clinical skills but in communication, teamwork and leadership, the ethos is to help everyone enjoy their work as much as possible and have the opportunity to improve their skills, with a real sense of shared purpose.

The Rota:
• Full time - day runs from 8.30am start time with the last consult booked at 5.45pm with time set aside for administrative purposes
• 1:3 Saturday mornings with a full day off during the week
• No OOH or bank holidays
