Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented rural surveyor with entrepreneurial flair and a passion for creating commercial opportunities in the rural sector. The successful candidate will be part of the rural team in Kent.
The local office is home to a rural team including specialists in estate management, farm management, telecoms, valuation and general professional work. Clients include private rural estates, farmers, traditional institutions and rural property investors.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
The role is primarily for an estate manager with an ability to think strategically and take cases/projects on rural estates from inception through to completion. It will provide wide ranging experience in dealing with all aspects of rural estate management across a wide range of estates and provides plenty of client contact.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Our Client is looking to recruit an individual who is keen to develop a career in an extremely diverse and fast changing sector of the economy. The successful candidate is likely to possess some or all of the following attributes:
Technical experience
· MRICS
· Strategic asset management including diversification and adding value to rural assets
· Landlord and tenant negotiations in all sectors
· General understanding of planning and development
