Job description
To be accountable for his/her Midwifery practice which must always be in accordance with: The NMC Rules and Standards (2012) The NMC Code Professional Standards of Practice and Behaviours for Nurses and Midwives (2015) The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust policies, procedures and philosophy of care The role required close working relationships with the midwifery team and cross cover/team working with other Band 7 Midwives working in Antenatal Services. Utilise a creative/innovative approach to problem solving and service change/development. To notify NMC of Intention to Practice and pay annual fee. To maintain professional development in accordance with revalidation. Maintain accurate records required by statute. Act as an ambassador for the Trust in professional and public settings and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
