This post attracts a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade to enable individuals to join our permanent workforce. This is payable upon successful completion of your probationary period and is subject to eligibility criteria.
We are looking for a Support Worker to be based in one of our Community Resource Centres at Cleeve Court on a part time basis on permanent contract.
This role is for 21.625 hours per week and involves a rota system which includes early and late shifts and working every other weekend with some bank holidays for which enhancements are paid.
The Cleeve Court offers a supportive atmosphere which is in Twerton, Bath delivering residential/ dementia care, and this is easily accessible via public transport or car.
As a Support Worker, you will:
Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
Promote resident’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of care.
Adhere to and complete accurate and timely records of the care and support provided to residents.
Providing support to access third party and NHS services.
Be a strong team player and work on own initiative when needed.
Promote positive lifestyle choices, offering individuals the opportunity and motivation to achieve their best.
About You
Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential and full training will be provided. This opportunity is ideal for an individual aiming to develop their career and gain hands on experience in a thriving and friendly workplace.
