Estates Service Manager - £28.00 Per Hour – Hybrid Working – Social Working Hours – Interim Contract – Local Authority Benefits – Honiton

The Role:
- The vacancy is that of Interim Estate Services Manager; this contract will last 4 months, with the prospect of extension and/or permanence.
- Pay rate for this job is £22.49 (PAYE) or £28.00 (Umbrella).
- This is a full-time job; 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM.
- Housing Performance Lead’s will work on a hybrid basis, with admin work being completed on provided IT equipment between office-based responsibilities. The office will be based in Honiton, East Devon.
The Responsibilities
- Managing all maintenance and housing management aspects for the local authority’s social housing patches.
- Responsible for the procurement and management of relevant contractors, suppliers and completing relevant KPI reports.
- Leading and developing a direct labour and maintenance team.,
- Complying with legislations around health, safety and housing policy.
The Requirements
- Extensive housing management knowledge – law & process.
- Prior team management experience.
- Strengths in coaching and people management.
- A valid UK driving license, enabling ease of travel.
- A Basic DBS certificate will need to be completed or provided for this role.
The Desirables
- Level 3 CIH qualification or above.
