Personal Assistant / Carer Required in Macclesfield, SK11

20 hours per week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday

£12 per hour.

Please note - Driving license required for this role.

Purpose of the job

We are looking for a personal care assistant who can support a lady in Macclesfield who has cerebral palsy with limited communication, is wheelchair bound and has diabetes.

Main Duties will involve :

Personal care & showering

Shopping

Making meals

Cleaning

Prompting this lady to take medication

Supporting to monitor diabetes

To take this lady out when required (i.e. pub lunch or to church)

The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; there may be occasions where you are reasonably requested to provide additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home. 

Supervision

My personal assistant is accountable to the employer in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests. 

Personal Assistant Specification

Driving license required for this role.

My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.

My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.

My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.

You must be able to work well independently.
