Job description
We are currently seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Digital Marketing Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME . You will have a passion for all things digital, a strong desire to learn, create and contribute within the marketing of 3 related businesses.
Key duties and responsibilities....
- Completing keyword research, on-page optimisations, content gap analysis, technical audits to understand opportunities and issues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve our search rankings and drive organic traffic
- Undertake reporting activities to demonstrate and understand the impact of ongoing SEO and website changes on traffic and keyword level data.
- Utilising tools such as GA4, Data Studio to benchmark and monitor website performance across a variety of channels
- Editing and updating website content through the website CMS, execute SEO content and optimisations.
- You’ll also utilise our CMS to correct any relevant errors that are picked up by audit tools such as 404 pages, broken links, etc
- Testing the website across a variety of devices and raising and tracking the resolution of issues
- Creating high-quality, engaging, and optimised content that not only captivates our audience but also ranks well on search engines
- Manage simple Google Ads campaigns, track and monitor performance
- Execute and monitor outbound email marketing campaigns
- Working alongside our external agencies and internal teams to develop and optimise on-page, outreach and technical components to drive more traffic and conversions from organic search. This will involve utilising a variety of tools to monitor and report on ranking positions
Requirements
- Strong research skills, good grammar, and a flair for writing content
- Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS)
- Hands on experience of website analytics tools, for example Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager (nice to have)
- An eye for detail when reviewing website content
- Knowledge of the key principles and techniques associated with search engine optimization (SEO)
- A passion for all things digital. A strong desire to learn, create and contribute
- An ability to work effectively with others, and to build productive, collaborative relationships
- Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively
- A good standard of computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Basic html would be useful
