About Our Client

Our client is a manufacturing business based in Grimsby. Due to fantastic financial performance over the past few years and the continued growth of the business, have resulted in a new opportunity available for a Finance Business Partner to join an established and high-performing commercial finance function.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Financial Director you will be responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, enhanced reporting, and building strong cross-functional and cross-site relationships these include;

• Deliver accurate customer, product, and species profitability analysis
• Support commercial management (procurement and customer teams) to develop sales plans and conduct post-audit assessment of the commercial success of those plans
• Provide stock management support - ensuring stock is appropriately held and monitored
• Support for budget and forecast preparation for the customers and species
• Influence achievement of budgets and KPI targets
• Preparation of weekly margin reports by customer and species and analysis of the trends in the business
• Identify and formulate standard reports to be provided to management and business teams to collaborate across the business to share and develop capabilities

The Successful Applicant

• Part Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience
• Current or recent experience of having worked in a commercial finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to business partner with other teams
• Strong Excel experience
