As a Product Manager in Data, you will focus on Commercial data (product, price, ranging data) working closely with a variety of teams across Technology, Commercial, Digital, Supply Chain, Logistics and Retail to advance several core strategic initiatives by building data products that are accessible to the business, enabling invaluable, enriched reporting and analytics. Our product teams are made up of inspiring and multidisciplinary individuals who are empowered to solve hard problems in ways our customers love and serve the needs of our business. More about the role You'll be responsible for managing existing and creating new Commercial data products in the Aspire database, which covers a varied portfolio including Product, Price, Promotion, Supplier, as well as Range and Space data. You’ll engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements, value-add and business problems the data product will solve. You’ll clearly document and communicate the expected outcomes, partnering with the Senior Product Manager, Engineers, Data Architects, Data Governance, Security teams to design and deliver solutions to meet stakeholder needs. You’ll proactively feed into the roadmap and overall data strategy, with an in-depth knowledge of the products being delivered; the value they bring and their priorities. You’ll continuously evaluate existing data products to make sure they are fit for purpose, well designed, adequately catalogued, and aligned to strategic goals to meet business needs. You’ll support the communication and prioritisation of live product incidents. More about you You love data and data products. Excellent communication and collaboration with other teams, customers and stakeholders, with an ability to influence as well as engage. Possess knowledge and understanding of a retail business and the technology landscape, and how to maximise the value that products will add. Clear understanding of Agile delivery and modern engineering team practices. You ask the right questions to drive better solutions and can translate between customer requirements and technology delivery. Able to clearly articulate business benefit of the product. An ability to creatively problem solve and enthusiasm for delivering change through people and technology. A high level of team contribution.
