Senior Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks / Civils)

£65,000 to £80,000 plus package

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background working within Civils / Groundworks, looking to step into a Senior role with a market-leading company which works on groundworks projects   across Essex, Hertfordshire and East Anglia. They are looking for an individual who will add direct value through effective management, ensuring   efficient interaction with commercial and operational teams to meet the clients project goals?

The company deliver leading groundworks projects across the UK, across private and public sectors, including residential and commercial developments. They are renowned for their excellent level of service.

You will be supporting various parts of the business, ensuring good client and private team relationships are kept and maintained throughout, whilst taking responsibility for subcontract negotiations, orders and financial accounting to ensure all projects maintain commercial deadlines and attain full commercial potential.

The Role:

• Cash flow, Monthly CVR and cost management forecasting accurately competed
  
• Management of monthly measures and sub-contractors
  
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients when attending meetings and agreeing monthly valuations.
  
• Ensure commercial and contractual processes are followed
  
• Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting on the project.
  

Requirements

The Person:

• Quantity Surveyor, with a background in Civils / Groundworks
  
• Experience with JCT & NEC contracts
  
• Previous work history with a groundworks sub contractor is essential
