We now have a very exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join on us within our L&G Retail business, helping support and deliver a number of key projects when it comes to regulatory changes. This will be a great opportunity to use your stakeholder Management skills and experience both up and down our organisational chain, delivering effective communication to support effective decision-making and managing the smooth integrated delivery of projects.
Job Description
- In this role you will be leading on the delivery of projects in the LGI portfolio taking end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of a business function portfolio and/or significant programme.
- Your role will be to first establish and maintain the correct structures to control and monitor all the deliverables, as defined in the Business Case.
- You'll then be leading on project planning, scheduling, controlling, and reporting activities ensuring that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained, and issues are actively managed through to their successful resolution.
- It will be crucial that you deliver effective communication to all stakeholders, up as well as down the organisation to support effective decision-making and manage the smooth and integrated delivery of projects.
- At Legal & General, we have several third-party relationships, which you will manage ensuring that dependencies are identified and managed, and deliverables are achieved, as defined in the project's Initiation Document and without incurring unnecessary cost or delay to projects.
- Determine, monitor, and review all project economics, including costs, staffing requirements, project resources, and project risk, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by appropriate reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated project management and delivery experience
- Proven experience of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality
- Successful experience of translating analysis into practical implementation
- Proven capability of managing senior stakeholders
- Experience / exposure of regulatory projects.
- Experience in facilitation and running workshops
- Experience of different project management approaches e.g. agile and waterfall
