Job description
Hire Resolve's client is a large consulting firm, which is seeking a Head of Tax to join their team of professionals in Letchworth Garden City, England. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute tax strategies to minimize overall tax liabilities and maintain compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee the preparation and timely filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and international.
- Provide guidance and expertise on tax-related matters to internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and executive teams.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and government agencies.
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional development.
Requirements
- 5 years’ post qualified experience of working in practice
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Managerial experience
