Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for the English language? Our client, a leading secondary school and sixth form in Camden, is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum, supporting students' progress and development, and facilitating a learning environment conducive to individual potential.
- Contributing to raising standards of student attainment and providing opportunities for personal and academic growth.
- Engaging in operational and strategic planning, curriculum planning, staff development, and quality assurance to ensure excellence in education.
- Managing information, maintaining records, and effectively communicating with students, parents, and stakeholders.
- Participating in the pastoral system as a form tutor, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, along with a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Successful teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in multi-ethnic urban schools and 11-18 school settings.
- Understanding of effective teaching and learning practices, high expectations, and equality of access.
- Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements, lesson planning, resource development, and assessment methods.
- Strong teamwork, ICT, communication, leadership, and time management skills.
- Ability to create a motivating and safe learning environment, positively engage with parents and external agencies, and employ various strategies to motivate students and raise their aspirations.
