Overview
Pragmatic is seeking an exceptional VP Quality and Reliability to develop and lead a world-class Quality function and ensure that our processes and products are reliable as we transition into high-volume manufacturing. Reporting to the SVP Manufacturing & Operations, the VP Quality and Reliability will apply their wide-ranging breadth and depth of knowledge from experience in successfully leading semiconductor quality and reliability teams
Using deep technical understanding of front and backend manufacturing within the semiconductor industry, they will drive world-class performance across product and process reliability and qualification.
Key tasks
- Develop and drive a holistic quality strategy that encompasses product and process reliability, failure analysis, customer quality and internal quality practice, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Build, lead and mentor a multi skilled, highly performing team, promoting professional development to ensure delivery of strategy and objectives
- Lead and develop the Reliability Engineering function to build product and process reliability, and developing and executing qualification plans for new products and processes
- Lead and develop the Quality function, directing the management of customer quality using a robust 8D process, driving corrective and preventative actions to achieve world class customer ppm levels
- Implement best in class Quality Management Systems, ensuring company-wide adherence to ISO accreditations, developing and driving a quality focussed culture
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs, providing regular reports to executive leadership on quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement
- Lead and develop the Failure Analysis function to perform effective fault localisation and analysis to resolve customer quality issues and internal qualification programs
Qualifications and training
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering or Quality-related discipline
- Evidence of continued professional development (desirable)
- Relevant Quality certification (desirable)
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as an established leader within the semiconductor industry
- Extensive experience of operating at a leadership level within semiconductor quality / reliability teams
- Deep technical understanding of front and backend manufacturing, semiconductor device physics and failure mechanisms
- Be able to evidence having a passion for building and empowering teams and working beyond the confines of the job description (desirable)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely (desirable)
