ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:

r10 is currently seeking a proactive Test Manager, who can bring a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the successful integration of systems in the AWS cloud environment.

The System Integration project aims to seamlessly integrate diverse systems within the insurance industry, enhancing operational efficiency and providing a competitive edge. This strategic initiative involves migrating critical processes and data to the cloud, with a primary emphasis on utilising (AWS) as the chosen cloud platform.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES:

• Define test objectives, scope, and deliverables, considering the specific needs.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and create a detailed test plan outlining the testing approach, resource requirements, and timelines.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of integration points and cloud-specific functionalities.
• Oversee the setup and configuration of testing environments, ensuring they accurately replicate the production environment on AWS.
• Collaboration between testing, development, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to system integration.
• Work closely with data management teams to ensure realistic and diverse datasets for testing purposes.
• Identify potential risks associated with system integration and cloud migration, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Provide regular status reports and communicate testing progress to project management and stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE & SKILL-SET:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager, ideally in system integration projects.
• Knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud migration preferable.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and modern testing practices.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• London Market/Insurance experience.
• Proficiency with testing tools: Jira, Virtuoso (beneficial)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
