Maintenance engineer

- Day shift (flexible start time)
The Role:
Responsible for all maintenance of buildings and ensuring machinery runs to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Duties include:
- Basic Electrical and mechanical fault finding on all machinery.
- Ensure effective maintenance of all equipment and production lines.
- Develop maintain and implement planned maintenance schedules and routines for all equipment.
- Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation.
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with the company requirements.
- Analysis and reporting of Maintenance Management System in line with continuous improvement philosophy.
- Assists with the organisation, inventory and housekeeping of maintenance stores and workshop.
- Proactively ordering maintenance spares as and when required
- All other engineering duties as and when required.
The Person:
- 2 years recent maintenance experience
- Detailed knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and of safety requirements in the maintenance and repair of the machinery
- Evidence of having applied a structured problem-solving approach.

- Excellent package around £45,000 available depending on experience.
