Job description

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Director of Music at a High school in Wandsworth.

The school are looking for an inspirational, dynamic, innovative, and well-qualified Director of Music to lead their highly successful, vibrant department. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to model and promote outstanding teaching and learning.

They will have the skills to support and empower their team and will have the vision to play a key role in the strategic leadership of Music, both in the classroom, co-curricular clubs and throughout the wider school community. 

Music is integral to the ethos and character of the school and through the study of Music for the students to gain experience not only in practical musicmaking and performance but also explore a wide range of musical genres through their academic lessons. Music permeates the wider school environment and offers an extensive range of opportunities for students to involve themselves in.
