Job description

As Integration Support Officer you will report into the Integration Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of your activities, seeking support as necessary. You will monitor and manage integration activities, and will be responsible for day-to-day operations, meeting operational SLAs and standards across the group. You will work on your own initiative managing project activity daily through work planning and prioritisation, seeking supervision and escalating risks and issues where appropriate. You will be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and the role system integration has in clinical applications. You will have knowledge how computer systems support patient care and have some experience working in a system management role. You will seek innovative ways of using technology to support working practices and streamline processes within the Department, Directorate, and the Trust. You will be responsible for implementing the standard operating procedures for the Integration Team and associated infrastructure. You will work with the wider digital team to ensure relevant security and critical updates are tested and applied in a timely way. You will have good problem solving, communication and organisational skills. You will take part in the rota for your team to ensure that the Trust Integration Engine (TIE) has support available during the agreed core working hours. Additionally, you will take part in the integration on-call service, available to the Group, ensuring that the integration service is available 24/7 to critical systems.
