Recruit4Staff are proud to represent our client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a
M&E Manager based in their
Wrexham office, also working on sites across the UK.
For the successful M&E Manager our client is offering:
- Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
- Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm (hours may vary)
- Permanent role
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

The Role - M&E Manager- Management of the M&E delivery during pre-construction, construction and subsequent handover and commissioning phases of the project.
- Provide the project with valuable experience, knowledge, and management of interfaces for M&E / building trades.
- Management of subcontractors’ and suppliers providing M&E services to the project
- Ensure that all temporary and permanent construction / installation activities are carried out in accordance with quality, environmental and H&S procedures
- Ensure suppliers and sub-contractors are managed and co-ordinated appropriately.
- Ensure objectives are achieved and project is delivered in accordance with agreed scope, timeframe, budget, and quality standards.
- Plan and monitor all project related activities throughout effective programming of the works in liaison with the planning department.
What our client is looking for in a M&E Manager
- HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree) ESSENTIAL
- Appropriate safety training and qualification for the nature of the works (e.g SMSTS, TSTS etc) ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience working directly for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors ESSENTIAL
- Excellent experience of managing M&E construction projects ESSENTIAL
- 5+ experience in the project management of a major engineering project ESSENTIAL
- Technical knowledge appropriate to the nature of works
- Client and stakeholder management
- Working knowledge of planning & programming
- Commercial and contractual awareness
- Management of a project delivery.
- Understanding of developing and maintaining forecasts and budgets
