Over the past 7 years, our established and growing client has worked with a wide range of customers in various sectors, including Commercial and Industrial and Education.
They are looking for a Network Cabling and Installation Engineer who is self-driven, enthusiastic individual with a good eye for detail, who can work well as part of a team as well as independently.
They need someone who is willing to aid and support the company’s growth, which could lead to great opportunities in the future.
The person who is chosen to the Network Cabling and Installation Engineer will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong interpersonal and customer facing skills.
- Fault finding and problem solving.
- Good understanding of Network systems.
- Knowledgeable in AV, IP CCTV and wireless system installations.
- 3+ years’ Experience including IPAF, CSCS and Copper/Fibre qualifications.
- Occasionally working away with additional allowances.
- Own tools.
- Great understanding of the industry, working environments and customer expectations.
The new Network Cabling and Installation Engineer will be responsible for:
- Installing / terminating Cat5e/Cat6 & Cat6a cabling.
- Fibre Optic Installing / splicing Multimode & Single mode Fibre.
- Cable Containment.
- Copper and fibre testing, identifying and problem solving.
- Network Cabinet replacements and rack layouts.
- Good Network knowledge.
- AV/Security an advantage.
