Your new role
- Oversee and coordinate the sharing of legal knowledge, learning and development in a coordinated manner to support the provision of well-informed, consistent legal advice by the legal team. This will be through various media and products (for example, a training schedule and maintaining the knowhow databases, including contributing content to those databases).
- Contribute to this pool of legal knowledge by providing robust legal and risk mitigation advice to the Legal team on issues relevant to the functions, working with members of the team to produce and agree house views and deliver training on these (and other) issues.
- Evaluate the efficacy of the legal team's knowhow initiatives, products and strategies as well as identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Work alongside the legal team and the Legal Knowhow Associate.
- Support the legal management team.
- Work alongside other colleagues across the organisation to identify efficiencies, to ensure the effective sharing of relevant know-how and to work with the legal management team, other members of the legal team and clients to help identify areas where legal advice is needed.
- Represent the legal team both internally and externally.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Qualified Solicitor in England& Wales with at least 7 years PQE
- Experience of Pension Law and Support Lawyer is essential
- Experience of Regulatory Law will be a plus
- Extenstive experience of content drafting/producing
