The role is UK based with having the right to work in the UK ( we do not offer sponsorships)

Job Description

Home Instead Dundee & South Angus is currently recruiting for Care Assistants.

Are you looking for a rewarding job and want to make a difference?

Zero hours & contracts available, Must be able to work every second weekend.

Only driver positions are currently available for this position – must have a driving licence and have your own reliable car.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Minimum 1 hour visits.
• Introductions to all clients
• Visiting the same clients to allow you to build up a relationship and our client’s have continuity.
• Home Help – Helping with everyday tasks from tidying, laundry, hoovering and meal preparation/cooking.
• Companionship – Ensuring clients enjoy social interactions daily from chatting, playing their favourite board games etc to going on social outing days or accompanying to appointments/shopping.
• Personal care -Supporting clients with every day routines such as showering, dressing, grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
• Medication support – prompting, assisting etc.

• A driving licence & access to a reliable vehicle is essential
