Role: CAD Technician Location: Newcastle (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Performance-Based Bonus Scheme Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you a CAD Technician with experience working on clean and/or waste water projects attached to water utility companies? My client, a leading consultancy attached to multiple water utility companies in the UK, is looking for a Digital Designer/CAD Technician to work out of their Newcastle office on a hybrid basis, to provide technical design support to the Engineering team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects attached to Northumbrian Water. Experience of working on clean and/or waste water projects is essential.
Your role will involve preparing project drawings and BIM models, understanding and implementing local client CAD standards and BIM data requirements and working within ISO19650 compliance.
About you: ·Ideally you will have a minimum HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or a similar subject.
·Experience of working on clean and/or waste water projects is essential.
·Experience of working in Common Data Environments using Data Management Systems such as BIM360 and ProjectWise;
·Used Civil3D for earthworks and pipeline profiles.
·Used Revit for creating and amending structures and plant.
