Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities The key driver for this role is our need to transform our approach to learning and development globally and support the CHRO and ILT in the development of a strong learning culture and engaging employee experience. The role will provide expertise in the core HR talent processes, ensuring that employees feel engaged, skilled, and motivated to work towards the company's business goals, supporting employees to experience an emotionally rewarding and professionally satisfying career through targeted HR initiatives. All activities are designed to have measurable outcomes that translate into a quantifiable increase in employee satisfaction and business performance.
The Talent, Learning and Development manager delivers to a global plan that ensures Immunocore develops the best people and provides clear career paths & development support to our employees. The role holder will work on initiatives such as Talent Review and Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement survey, Induction, Early careers, Career Frameworks & the annual Performance Review. The role holder builds programs for high potential & high performing employees, driving and embedding these initiatives across the business for us to deliver against our strategic aim to “Be the best workplace”. Partnering across the organisation, the role holder assists the functional leaders to deliver their people goals.
The role holder will also have the opportunity to business partner with a business function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitates the delivery of the talent reviews and succession planning processes eg by training HRBPs and/or leaders, launching the succession planning process and coordinating updates and changes to the process with the head of the CoE.
• On-going improvement and oversight of the onboarding process, working with HRBP’s & CHRO to create a fully inclusive, relevant and up to date program that ensures all employees are welcomed to the company and well-versed in the organization’s standards and practices before embarking on their new role
• Early careers lead, responsible for supporting work experience, apprenticeships and managing the year in industry programme.
• Together with the Head of the CoE, owns the Performance and Development Review Process, and ensures that in collaboration with the HRBPs, that the annual process is delivered in line with the HR calendar.
• Provide advice and coaching to people managers and individual contributors as required
• Lead various departmental and HR initiatives and projects alongside business as usual operational requirements with timely delivery
• As required, to design and facilitate learning opportunities to develop current and emerging Leaders & emerging talent, to develop high performing teams and build strong future skills and capabilities through targeted L&D activities
• Embedding our Immunocore Values in all the CoE interventions
• Collaborate with the various departments and HRBPs to design interventions to support career frameworks and embed them in the organisation
• Design and administration of the employee engagement survey and the facilitation of follow up actions. Ongoing pulse measurement
• To engage key stakeholders in learning and development initiatives as required
• To work closely with internal communications to ensure employees are engaged in learning and development initiatives
• To leverage the Immunocore learning platform
• To act as the HRBP with one of the small business functions

Experience & knowledge
• Experience of supporting Senior Leaders and their leadership teams either through business partnering experience or internal consultant type roles
• Previous leadership, learning and/or organisational development experience in a globally diverse, fast-evolving organisation
• Certified in one or more team or individual psychometric tools eg MBTI, Insights, FIRO B
• Degree level educated or educational equivalent and ideally CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards).
• Previous pharmaceutical/biotech experience desired but not necessary
