Job description
Venari Finance are delighted to be exclusively engaged with our key client in the Glasgow area to recruit a newly created Head of FP&A.
The role will report directly into the Finance Director and has been created due to continued growth across the business. The opportunity presents a unique chance to shape the FP&A function for the business going forward. The role will work closely with the senior stakeholders across the business.
Role Overview:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic financial plan
- Provide in–depth financial analysis, variance explanations, and key performance indicators to senior leadership
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to support decision–making at both operational and executive levels
- Collaborate with other departments to understand business drivers and provide financial insights to drive informed decision–making
- Work closely with the executive team to evaluate strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and other business opportunities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of FP&A functions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve financial processes.
Candidate Background:
- Qualified Accountant e.g ICAS/ACCA/CIMA
- Previous FP&A experience in multi–site environment
- Strong analytical skill set
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both finance and non–finance stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem–solving abilities
Package– GBP70,000– GBP75,000 plus hybrid working, Private Medical Insurance
