Teacher in Engineering/ Teacher in Engineering with Coordination Duties

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year annualised hours. 855 (full time equivalent) annual teaching hours. We would also consider applications for part time contracts.

Salary: Teacher In Engineering In the range of £29,125 - £34,718 per annum pro-rata (Dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)

Salary: Teacher In Engineering with Coordination duties In the range of £36,819 - £41,427 per annum pro-rata (Dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)

Primary Location: Northampton, Booth Lane Campus

The Team

We have a team of qualified Engineers from various roles within Engineering. We are an incredibly supportive team with years of industry and education experience.

The Role

To support the delivery of theory and practical lessons in Engineering for full time students, part time students and apprentices.

We have courses from Level 1 through to HNC.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

• Educated to level 6 with a Relevant Engineering Degree or Work-related experience (including GCSE Maths & English at a grade C/4 or above).
• A qualification in Engineering is desirable but not essential. The candidate must be able to demonstrate skills and expertise in the specialist area.
• Experience of working with young people and adults.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to supporting and motivating students.
• Strong digital skills, including word processing and electronic communication.
• Passionate about Engineering.
• Well organised and able to plan and manage resources in a highly effective manner.
