Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and respectful learning environment
- Foster a culture of mutual respect and high expectations within the classroom, promoting positive relationships between students and staff
- Respond promptly and appropriately to challenging behaviour, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students
- Establish clear and consistent routines and expectations for student behaviour, with fair and appropriate consequences for non-compliance
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to address individual student needs and provide additional support where necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Specialism in one or more humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.)
- Proven experience implementing effective behaviour management strategies in a secondary school setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
