Health & Safety Advisor Location: Doncaster with site based travel. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Negotiable dependant on level of experience plus car allowance, travel, accommodation and package Company Information: A successful rail infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to recruit a Site based Health & Safety Advisor to support their busy team and actively ensure high standards of Health & Safety are attained The Health & Safety Advisorrole would suit someone looking to develop there career as full support will be given to move up in to a management role and further their career. Essential Requirements for the Health & Safety Advisor - Proven experience in the rail sector. - Site background - Willing to travel - Experience in Rail / construction Industry - NEBOSH General Certificate - PTS ideally - A sound knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 - Ability to adapt ideas and approaches to suit changing priorities or solutions - Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined Preferred Requirements for the HSEQ Advisor - NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level H&S qualification - CMIOSH - Lead Auditor - IEMA/CQI membership - CSCS Main Duties for the Health & Safety Advisor - Provide Health & Safety support to Rail Sector projects - Assist in the development of Health & Safety related documentation including CPP, WPP, TBS, RAMS - Promoting the awareness of Health & Safety issues and activities across the projects - Receive, review and disseminate Health & Safety information - Organisation of investigations into incidents and accidents, reporting of conclusions and implement corrective actions as necessary - Maintain liaison with Trackwork Clients, Network Rail, Enforcement Agencies and Third Parties on Health & Safety issues - Support the Head of Health & Safety in developing Health & Safety Strategies and maintaining third party accreditations - Take stewardship of the internal and external audit program and support area offices in respect to third party audits Navartis Ltd is a specialist recruitment company supplying highly skilled technical and management professionals within the global Transportation, Civil Engineering & Utility industries, if you are seeking a new position our recruitment team can locate the opportunity to suit your needs
