Must be based within 45 mins of Woking, Surrey
A confident and ambitious Sales Consultant with the ability to identify and nurture both B2C and B2B opportunities from an existing client base and new, cold leads, is required on a self-employed basis to join a trade-trusted specialist cleaning company experiencing impressive commercial growth.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a wonderful opportunity for a hungry, numbers driven salesperson with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and business owners, to take the next step on their career ladder.
This broad ranging role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to quickly build and develop a comprehensive toolbox of sales and marketing techniques. The ideal candidate will come to the role with a track record of over-achieving in a sales and marketing role, however, applications from less experienced individuals with the ability to build commercial relationships quickly are also encouraged.
All necessary product training will be provided to the candidate that can demonstrate a desire to learn coupled with the ability to positively impact bottom line growth once up to speed.
Key Responsibilities - Undertake outbound new business development calls to develop the sales pipeline
- Develop, implement and deliver a marketing strategy - Primarily through the use of social media
- Maintaining and updating the in-house CRM system
- Visit client, prospects and key accounts as required
- Following up with customers and prospects regarding quotations and other enquiries
- Act as the first point of contact for all sales & marketing calls
- Provide support to the field operations team, including booking appointments
- Re-engaging with inactive, dormant customer accounts
Key Skills & Experience
- Have a clear, polite and professional telephone manner
- Sales experience from within the trade sector (building, plumbing, etc) is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a sales role, ideally with social media responsibilities
- An understanding of how to use social media as a tool for generating revenue growth.
- Clear spoken and written English
- Good organisational skills
- An interest in developing sales and marketing skills
- Clear reporting and understanding of customer needs
- Be happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills
