Job description
A rare opportunity has been created for a Private Client Solicitor to join the Trusts and Private Wealth team at this leading offshore firm, based in Jersey. The role is ideally suited to applicants who are either recently qualified or with up to c1 year of PQE.
The team advises professional trustees, private individuals and families, financial institutions and charities on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Working as part of a dynamic team, you will play an integral part in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and other advisors.
Candidates should have a background in non-contentious and semi-contentious private client work including some or all of the following: trust and supplemental deed drafting, will drafting, trust law analysis and advisory work, probate applications, wealth structuring and family office planning and restructuring exercises. Previous experience with offshore work specifically would be advantageous but is by no means essential as training will be provided.
Individuals should be offshore, UK or Commonwealth qualified, with a keen interest in trusts and private wealth practice. The position combines top-level work, with a compensation package commensurate with experience and the excellent lifestyle benefits of living and working in Jersey.
