Job description
A rare and unique opportunity has arisen to work for an international manufacturing organisation who have a prestigious reputation in their industry with over 100 years of trading experience. They have a diverse customer base ranging from electronics, construction, medical, aerospace & many more.
Your new role:
- Working in this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to develop key strategic relationships with a number of suppliers.
- You will have the opportunity to lead on localising a global supply chain by utilising your stakeholder management skills and working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Lead on the development of 4 different category arears spilt across direct and indirect procurement by utilising your negotiation skills.
- Take the lead and suggest supplier SKU rationalisation / source alternative products where applicable.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years procurement experience working in a high-pressured environment.
- Good multitasker and able to managed multiple projects at once.
- Experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and a self starter.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Analytically strong.
- CIPS qualified or working towards would be an advantage.
