Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Washington
Salary: £75 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time
GSL Education is currently in search of an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant for a client Early years provision School located in Washington , which boasts an 'Outstanding' rating for its Early Years provision according to Ofsted.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher in addressing students' educational and social requirements.
- Providing 1:1 support to a student with complex needs.
- Emphasizing the development of social skills, life skills, and communication skills in lessons, activities, and group sessions.
- Collaborating with two learners with complex needs and a lead teacher.
- Aiding in planning and preparing learning activities, resources, and materials for the EYFS curriculum.
- Supporting in conducting assessments and maintaining records of each child's development and progress.
EYFS Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- We encourage individuals aspiring to work in pastoral roles, including child psychologists, educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, SALTs, counselors, and social workers, to apply.
- Prior experience in a support role within a school or a child-related setting.
- A compassionate and professional attitude, with an enthusiasm to assist with personal care for students.
- Must have legal right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
