Job description
- Helping the CEO to develop the strategy, translate it into practice, oversee implementation, track performance and facilitate delivery
- Manage special projects for the CEO
- Assist in the development of corporate communications/correspondence. Support senior communication with clients
- Support with business development research and execution
- Develop and cultivate collaborative relationships with peers, members of the Leadership Team, and external partners
- Support the management of partners, suppliers and service providers. Ensure that the service provision remains aligned with the company mission and delivers VFM
- Conduct and assemble research
- Development of presentations, bids and documentation
- Supports and takes responsibility for community based initiatives and actions
- Assumes responsibility, in the CEO’s absence, for ensuring requests for action or information, which would normally receive the CEO’s attention are made known to responsible managers or personnel who can satisfy the request. Monitors resulting activity and helps to unblock an obstacles to progress
- Other responsibilities and projects as may be required
You will have the following underpinning skills, attitudes and behaviours:
- A degree or masters, plus >4 years experience
- Go-getter attitude, gets stuff done. Committed to the cause and willing to go the extra mile when the pressure is on
- Excellent research, analytical, planning and organisational skills. Analytically driven and comfortable with analysis tools and capable of learning new ones. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Logical thinker with a thorough and organised approach
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, in a rapidly evolving environment
- Practical experience of putting analysis into execution with real results
- Team-oriented and flexible. Experience ideally leading or otherwise working within cross-functional teams with differing skill-sets and objectives. Able to rapidly develop and foster and trust. Active listener
- Articulate and excellent verbal/written skills. Able to develop papers and presentations for senior level engagements
- Confident. Able to work with senior staff without getting flustered. Ability to establish credibility within the field of project data analytics
- Ability to work independently and remotely, taking responsibility for your own work, exercise professional judgment, and have discretion
- A self-starter who is disciplined and able to work to tight deadlines
- Trustworthy. Maintain a productive and secure working environment
