Overview

We are searching for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to care for children ages 6 (B), 11 (G) and 15 (B), in Sevenoaks, Kent. The position is part-time during the school term time and full-time during some of the school holidays. The hours are as follows:

Term time:

Monday to Thursday - 2.30pm to 7pm
Friday - 2.30pm to 5.30pm

Holidays:

Monday to Thursday - 8am to 7pm
Friday - 8am to 5.30pm

Typical nanny duties apply here and include: school and club pick-ups and drop-offs; preparing healthy home-cooked meals for the family; helping with reading and homework; keeping on top of the children's diaries and school events.

The family's eldest son is 15 and autistic - he is high-functioning, currently not attending school and is at home during the daytime. Either the father or mother are currently working from home during the daytime and this will likely continue to be the case.

In terms of housekeeping, the family would like someone with high standards of organisation and cleanliness, to: keep on top of the family laundry and ironing; changing bedding; dusting; cleaning the floors; cleaning the bathrooms; running errands and occasional food shopping.

The hourly rate will be £14.50 gross per hour, which calculates to be £21,960 gross per annum / £1830 gross per month / £422 gross per week.

The start date will ideally be 1st June. The family have no pets. A driver is essential for this role. This position is not suitable for a NWOC (nanny bringing their own child/children to work with them).
