Job description

The Company Secretariat is responsible for driving effective corporate governance around the OSB Group for the benefit of its wider stakeholders. Our team covers a broad range of activities including, Share Plan, Governance, Statutory and Regulatory Compliance. Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The OSB Group is a FTSE 250 specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market.

 

Our specialist lending is supported by our Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank retail savings franchises. Diversification of funding is provided by sophisticated securitisation platforms. OSB’s unique cost-efficient operating model is supported by our wholly-owned subsidiary OSBIndia.

The key purpose of this role is to assist the Group Head of Company Secretariat in supporting the organisation, the Board and its Committees with its governance responsibilities. You will assist in ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and shareholder requirements relevant to the organisation and promote good practice throughout the organisation.

This position covers a range of Company Secretariat disciplines across statutory compliance, regulatory disclosures, corporate governance and share plans. To be successful in this role, the chosen candidate would have a proven track record in these areas, whilst being able to demonstrate their ability to lead and advise on corporate transactions and governance queries.
