Behaviour Support Assistant – Cheltenham
Unlock the potential within every student while you work as a Behaviour Support Assistant in a lovely specialist school in Cheltenham!
This warm and friendly school are looking for an individual to come in and reinforce positive behaviours all while helping children process and regulate their emotions.
The students in this school come from troubled backgrounds and upbringings and need support with emotional regulation, processing their emotions, finding healthy ways to cope all while dealing with keeping up with their academics.
Your role as a behaviour support assistant will vary but mostly your daily duties will revolve around supporting the students. This may be done either 1 to 1 or in small group settings. Not only will you be exposed to a dynamic team support students with the guidance and help of the class teacher, you will also be exposed to other professionals in this multi-disciplinary team. You will take part in providing specific teaching techniques to aid in the students learning and support them in the best way possible.

* Understand how important safeguarding is
* Hold an enhanced DBS check – if you do not have a DBS certificate, don’t worry, we can support your application
