Business Analyst
Location: Fareham
Salary :£35,000
Hours: 40hrs per week

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent analytical and business reporting skills to join a dynamic and vibrant team! As the Business Analyst, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be working with large datasets and communicate findings and trends to other departments and senior staff.
The
Business Analyst will:
- Report directly into the Department Manager whilst working as part of a small team.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the processes or systems within the department by evaluating the quality of work done.
- Collect, analyse and summarise various department data and trends to produce accurate business reports.
- Maintain the inhouse system.
- Use Google BigQuery to data mine.
- Support with the forecasting process.
- Collate findings and create reports and graphs to track trends and monitor KPI’s.
- Investigate operational issues, suggesting suitable improvements.
- Support other teams/departments with analysis.
The ideal
Business Analyst will:
- Proven knowledge/experience of Google Sheets/Excel.
- Previous analyst experience.
- Have excellent analytical, business reporting and Excel skills – this is essential.
- Previous BigQuery/ SQL experience.
- Have strong judgement and critical thinking skills.
- An eye for detail.
- Investigative nature and interested in large datasets.
