Job description
Major Recruitment are looking to hire an Internal Account Executive on a fixed term contract to join our award-winning Engineering client who specialize in providing customer focused solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading commercial and customer support team, operating from the sales and service hub in the Tamworth head office. The position is essential for upholding superior customer service standards and the continued growth of sales revenues.
Job Requirements:
- Providing support to the team of external technical sales engineers through general administration duties.
- Drafting proposals and quotations
- Collaborating with external technical sales engineers
- The compilation of proposals and proactive sales activities to convert to orders
- Serving as a support link between the sales and service hub and other departments such as production, operations, warehousing, technical support, and finance
- Performing general office administration and secretarial tasks as needed
- Managing the customer database
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in creating proposals and quotes
- Previous experience in operating CRM systems
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Monday to Thursday 08:30 till 17:00
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Fast and accurate data inputting skills
- Organization and disciplined approach to work are paramount
- Ability to maximise sales revenues
