Job description
We are currently seeking a Production Line Operator to join an extremely reputable, family-run SME based in Harrow . As a Production Line Operator you will be a key member of the production team filling, labelling and packaging brake fluid. You will be responsible for ensuring that production lines are maintained and ready to fulfil customer orders.
You will be required to work effectively and efficiently with your line colleagues to ensure the production lines are meeting required performance levels whilst maintaining quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities...
- Ensure quality standards are maintained on all customer products produced on the production line
- Operation of production machinery in line with safety procedures and risk assessments
- Perform day to day maintenance of production equipment
- Ensure all procedures/instructions are adhered to, including the completion of all required documentation
- Ensure 5S workplace organisation standards are continually maintained
- Work on other production lines or in other areas of the company as required
- Authority to stop production if there is any indication of non-conforming product
Requirements
- Ability to safely and effectively use specialised machinery
- Physically fit
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to uphold quality standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Team working essential
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday 7.5 hours shifts
- Either 6am-2pm or 1:30pm-9:30pm
- 37.5 hours per week

- Salary: £23,500 to £26,000 per annum (£12.05 to £13.33 per hour)
