Our client, a prominent player in the food industry, is seeking a diligent and experienced Hygiene Manager to join their team. As a Hygiene Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in the food industry to take on a leadership position and drive excellence in hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all plant, machinery, and equipment undergo in-depth cleaning on a regular basis, meeting required standards.
* Oversee all hygiene tasks and manage all hygiene personnel effectively.
* Participate in both internal and external audits on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
* Maintain all cleaning procedures, continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Utilize strong technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve hygiene-related issues.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the hygiene team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
* Collaborate closely with technical teams to uphold food safety standards and ensure adherence to HACCP guidelines.
* Previous experience working within the food industry is essential, with a preference for experience with chilled and frozen products.
* Proven experience managing and leading your own team is required.

* Strong technical knowledge related to hygiene practices and equipment.

Salary - £40,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience)
