The successful candidate will thoroughly enjoy teaching their subject and understand the importance of music in contributing to our students’ wider development. Our performing arts department is strong with a history of good outcomes over many years.

We are also planning for the introduction of a private medical insurance scheme.

The general staff body is very stable and experienced. We have a highly committed team who always ‘go the extra mile’ for the school and community. All staff are expected to contribute to the development of new resources and to work collaboratively with others. We also offer excellent professional development opportunities and a wide range of facilities.

The school was inspected in 2019 remains ‘Good’ following a Section 8 Ofsted Inspection. Outcomes are also strong at our school. We consider many aspects of our provision to be excellent and we are now working to secure even further improvements at the school.

Standards of behaviour are very good and families are generally very supportive. We do not tolerate poor choices without proportionate consequences. As a new member of staff, you will find the school to be an extremely welcoming environment to teach in.

The school adheres to all safer recruitment practices.

This is a superb opportunity to come and join a school where you will make a genuine difference as well as having a great work life balance.
