Academics are hiring experienced Learning Support Assistants in the Llantwit Major and Cowbridge area to work within a range of lovely primary schools. The role as a Learning Support Assistant:
*Assisting the class teacher in the general day-to-day activities
*Monitor the pupil’s progress and behaviour
*Adhere to professional practises, standards and legislation (safeguarding, inclusion, diversity and equality)
*Contribute to a positive and inclusive school ethos
*Fostering positive relationships with school staff, pupils and parents
*Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
*Supporting students 1:1 and adapting teaching techniques to children’s individual needs.
The ideal candidate:
*Has a DBS on the update service (don’t worry if not, we can help with this)
*Has excellent communication and initiative
*Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant
*Is passionate about supporting the educational needs of children
*Has a Level 3 qualification in childcare (or related)
