Purovets have a fantastic new Hospital Veterinary Surgeon position in Essex, just a few miles from Central London. We are looking for an experienced vet to help run a busy hospital in Epping, ideally a certificate holder in imaging who will have the the opportunity to run the hospital. An interest in cardiology and ultrasound is preferred but not essential.
You will be expected to take an active role in running the hospital and help deliver the high standard of care that they pride themselves on. You will also be expected to work your cases up thoroughly and formulate a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plan. They are looking for a veterinary surgeon who thrives as part of a highly motivated team who is willing to take an active role in mentoring younger graduates, participate in their active journal club and strive to push standards forward.
They are a well-equipped hospital in Epping serving three branch practices. They have digital x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, endoscopy, bronchoscopy and a fully equipped laboratory on site. There are multiple certificate holders in the team and further education is actively encouraged. There is a dedicated out of hours service so there are no OOHs duties. This is a full-time role with approximately four of five weekends a year (8.00am - 6.30pm), 2 in 7 Saturday mornings and time off in lieu given for these weekends.

- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- Approx. 1 in 10 full weekends (8am - 6:30pm)
