Job description

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a partner School in Skipton to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher. This is a full time Science placement and will be from ASAP until July 2024, in the first instance, with a potential of a perm offer for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4, and will have responsibility for their own exam classes.

The school is situated on the outskirts of Skipton and is a 3 minute walk from the train station.

The Science department aim is to challenge and inspire its students to achieve their full potential. The school is described by staff as an excellent place to work and learn.

Requirements:

QTS or relevant teaching qualification
Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
2 x references from educational establishments
Evidence of an exemplary track record
A passion for success and quality teaching
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
