Supply Teacher role for PPA cover - June start

Prospero Teaching are working with a lovely, welcoming primary school in Manchester, to recruit a supply teacher to work in a PPA cover role from after half term to the end of summer term. This is a varied supply teacher role covering a range of foundation subjects so the school is looking for a teacher with excellent subject knowledge and strong understanding of the requirements of the National Curriculum. You would need to be confident teaching across the primary age groups and have adaptable class and behaviour management skills. This supply teacher role is suited to either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain further classroom experience. There is high likelihood for this role to continue in the new academic year.

The successful Supply Teacher will be:

• Confident teaching in KS1 and KS2
• Experienced managing challenging behaviour and additional needs including ADHD and SEBD
• Approachable, calm and a good team player
• Available long-term

The successful Teacher will have the following:

• Degree and Primary PGCE, and relevant experience
• UK classroom experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• References covering the last 2 years
• A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service, or be prepared to process a new one at a cost of £45.80
