Job role: Senior Leaseholder Certificate Coordinator
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Contract: Fixed Term 6 months
The job role The leasehold certificate team are appointed by a large freehold client to assist in the process of requesting and collating Leaseholder Deed of Certificates. Leaseholder Deed of Certificates are an important process under the Building Safety Act. The team will issue Notices to leaseholders, diarise to chase, record documentation returned and report to our client.
The Senior Coordinator role will report to the Head of Building Safety, the role will involve overview of the process to ensure compliance, month end reporting and will provide support, guidance and line management of 4 coordinators
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue mail merges for first and second notices
- Keep accurate records of notices and track responses
- Scan returned documents and file hard copies
- Respond to queries raised arising from notices issues
- Telephone reminders for outstanding notices
- Reporting to Business and client as required
Person specification
- Previous administrative experience
- Previous line management experience
- Strong communication skills- written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisation skills
- Good time management skills
- Experience of using Microsoft applications
- An understanding of building safety legislation would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
