As a Lead AI Programmer, you will be responsible for writing efficient C++ code, designing, implementing, and maintaining AI subsystems within a proprietary game engine. You will join our state-of-the-art endeavour for realistic, autonomous AI and work on our cutting-edge tech.
In your first few weeks in this Lead AI Developer role, you can expect to:
- Write efficient C++ code, design, implement, and maintain AI subsystems within a proprietary game engine
- Manage AI team members - mentoring, scheduling and tracking tasks, performance evaluations, one on ones, disciplinary actions, and knowing when to report an issue up the line
To apply for this Lead AI Programmer role, you will need excellent knowledge of C++ coding principles and practices with at least 4 years of professional experience. You will also require the following:
- Math and algorithmic skills
- Familiarity with game engine architecture
- Practical knowledge of modern game AI system design patterns
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
