Senior Project Manager Role
The Senior Project Manager will oversee several interior fit-out projects across a diverse array of sectors, including retail, hospitality, and leisure. This role is ideally suited for dynamic individuals eager to contribute to a team environment and work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the team to achieve shared goals.
- Effective communication with clients and on-site teams.
- Identifying and addressing potential design, structural, and site challenges with proactive solutions.
- Understanding of departmental roles and responsibilities.
- Demonstrating persistence and enthusiasm.
- Self-directed with the ability to initiate action.
- Development and management of project timelines using Microsoft Project.
- Procurement and management of materials.
- Overseeing up to four concurrent projects, depending on contract size.
- Contractor engagement and management.
- Collaboration with the commercial team on valuations and final account preparations.
- Coordination with internal teams, including Purchasing, Health & Safety, and CAD, to ensure seamless project execution.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing fit-out projects within the retail, leisure, and food sectors, with project values ranging from £100,000 to £3,000,000.
- A strong commitment to excellence.
- Proficient in building robust relationships with clients and contractors, surpassing client expectations and setting contractors up for success.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Directing on-site trades efficiently.
- A thorough understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
- Skilled in programme and cost control.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Resilience under pressure.
- Initiative and solution-oriented mindset.
