Job description
Our client has built a solid reputation supporting military and regional operators since the 1980’s. The company strive to build relationships with our customers that last. The company are a dedicated MRO shop offering landing gear and associated hydraulic support for the civilian, cargo, aerial firefighting and military markets.
The role
As a manual machinist you will be working on aircraft repairs on the workshop based in Harlow. The role will involve sub assembly work and general machining of bushes and other aircraft parts.
Key accountabilities
• Confident to set and operate machines.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
• Manual machining of parts
• Responsible for inspecting your own work
• Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedure
Skills & experience
• Apprenticeship or formal qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering is desirable.
• Relevant experience on Manual Machines
